This is Who I Am
The Autistic Womans Creative Guide to Belonging
Writing has always helped me to make sense of how I feel.
When I first started exploring what autism meant for me, it coincided with living through the covid pandemic of 2020.
I couldn’t find any books that could help me to make sense of the deluge of confusing thoughts and feelings that hit me.
In looking at myself through the autism lens, life as I knew it unravelled. I wanted to take comfort from reading about other women who were experiencing this, to know that I would be ok once I was able to accept myself as neurodivergent.
This is when the idea for writing my first book came about. I wrote of my experiences of growing up without a vital piece of information about why I experienced the world and connected with the people in it differently.
Along with my lived experience of discovering neurodivergence later in life, I blended my wisdom of creating learning tools and resources.

Holding my first book in my hands was incredible! A truly joyous moment.
To write about my learning and growth to help others, becoming a published author and establishing writing as part of my career is a cherished ambition realised.
My next non fiction book
My next non fiction book will be a collection of inspiration and ideas for loving and living your neurodivergent life.
With the voices and wisdom of neurokin women living beyond late life discovery we will share how you too can live in alignment with the dynamic of your neurotype.
This is not a ‘how to’ book, it's a ‘what if’ book.
We are beyond discovery.
We are neurokin!
